Introducing Toyota Forklift Dealer News

In an effort to streamline communications coming from TMHU to our dealer network, we are introducing a new newsletter, Toyota Forklift Dealer News. This electronic newsletter will replace all existing TMHU department level newsletters and will be sent to all dealer contacts. This newsletter will come out on or around the 1st of the month, and may be supplemented with “Special Editions” as needed. We hope you like the new format.

Additionally, when it is more appropriate to share information with a smaller audience, or when information is time sensitive or urgent, a “Notification” will be sent to recipients and will include information about who at your dealership is receiving the information.

It is our goal to provide an appropriate level of communication with our dealers, and in a format that is easy to understand. We welcome your feedback at DealerNews@TMHU.com.

TMHU forklift dealers from across the U.S. and Canada gathered in Las Vegas last month for TMHU’s annual RDAC meeting. This year’s presentation included remarks from TMHU President Jeff Rufener, TMHNA President and CEO Brett Wood, and new President of Toyota Industrial Equipment Mfg. Alex Zensho. Be smart, use data. That’s the premise of T-Matics, Toyota’s innovative smart forklift system. Set to make its debut in the coming months, T-Matics is competitive with other OEM and aftermarket telematics systems currently on the market. T-Matics is under the Fleet Management umbrella and is a complementary product to traditional fleet-management solutions. “The Delivery Experience” Launching in January

Last month, at the RDAC in Las Vegas, TMHU unveiled “The Delivery Experience,” a program to enhance and support the delivery of new Toyota forklifts that ship in to another dealer’s territory. The new program is designed to improve customer satisfaction and create opportunities for your sales force after the delivery of new forklifts. The Delivery Experience procedure guides your sales force and administrators to ensure proper cross-territory communication is taking place and so that you and your customer are properly informed leading up to and during a delivery.
